This beautiful and distinctively-styled size 7 ring is set with an approximately 4 ct. faceted oval tanzanite gem and seven diamond melee. The tanzanite is moderately purplish blue with no inclusions and a cut grade of very good. It measures 11.59 x 8.12 x 6.15mm. The full cut diamond melee are G-H in color, VS1 in clarity and very good in cut, with a total weight of approximately .14 ct. The band is 14K yellow gold. The ring weighs 12.64 grams and was custom carved and set. A registered appraisal by a certified gemologist estimates replacement value at $6,281.43. The ring is in excellent condition and appears to have been worn infrequently. Judging by its style, we estimate the ring was made in the early to mid 1980’s.
